Pinch detect fault litter robot 4

We've had a litter robot 3 for about 6 4 months. A few days ago it got stuck in the middle of a cycle. I didn't see it when it stopped, but it looks like it completed the first half to dump the waste then got stuck before it started rolling back to the home position. The yellow light is on solid. The buttons are completely unresponsive.My litter robot has not been spinning for the past 2 days, I finally got time this evening to disassemble it and try to fix it. My symptoms were: flashing blue indicator light (as if box is as full when it was empty) and if by some miracle it did cycle it would stop after dumping the clumps down below."Full disassemble" is taking off the bonnet, taking out the globe (dumping the litter), taking out the bottom tray. Spray down and scrub inside the globe. The base gets scrubbed, particularly the pinch detector! There can be a few causes for this, main one being the LR hasn't been cleaned in a while allowing enough litter to accumulate on the top of the base.
